The bottom line is that no matter what our past is, our melodrama, our storyline that brought us to where we are now, we long for something more. We want true freedom and true happiness which is not dependent on changing forms and circumstances.
A guide to living in the spiritual heart
After seven long years of drug-dealing, drug addiction and violence, in 2016 I had a great spiritual awakening and a powerful desire to come to Truth; and come to God.
It begins where I actually was: addiction, fear, dealing and violence, and the grace that turned all of it around.
Mantra, meditation and spiritual tools, grounded in the trenches of real recovery rather than in ideas about it.
The timeless, mystical wisdom of both traditions, from Maharaji and the Indian saints to Christ and the divine mother.
A word from me
I’m so excited and humbled for this book to be released to the public. It is the result of many lifetimes of spiritual path, practice and journey into the heart of love, the heart of God. I feel this book is the manifestation of the energy of many saints and great beings whose energies extend throughout the universe and that have come together to create this book.
It shows a small portion of my story with addiction, fear, drug dealing, violence and low self esteem and how by grace I was led to a spiritual awakening and complete transformation of life as I knew it. The book then goes through many stages of spiritual practice, love, surrender, wisdom, service and more.
It’s impossible for me to describe the book in so few words, so I can only suggest that if you feel an interest, curiosity or pull to order yourself a copy, follow it. You might find something that touches you deeper than you expect.

One night I dreamed of Maharaji. I was sitting at a booth. Maharaji is known for asking silly questions he already knows the answer to so he can open your heart. He said, “What are these?” Pointing to the beads. I said, “Mala beads.” He asked, “What do you use them for?” I answered, “Doing Japa.” He smiled and nodded. “You have to keep repeating the names of God.” As he walked away, he said great beings like Buddha and Christ come to this earth to help, to relieve suffering, “and every once in a while, I come.”
When we surrender doership we can flow, and you’ll have the sense that you’re living in a movie or leela - play. The play becomes a manifestation of effortless action. Just as we talked about earlier with the laws of karma and vibration - everyone and everything is a reflection of our own state of being and what we put out comes right back to us because there are no differences between insides and outsides.

Krishna · Bhagavad GitaAbout the book
It touches every single one of us in a variety of flavors, from drug and alcohol addiction, compulsive trading, and overeating, to the quieter tortures of out-of-control emotions, guilt, and the constant, obsessive background noise of the mind. But what if the way out of suffering isn’t about fighting the world, but changing who you think you are?
Ultimately, all suffering comes down to one thing: the mind grasping at something and refusing to let go. We attach ourselves to a mental picture of who we are, the ego, and mistake it for the whole truth.
Show Me the Way Out of Suffering is a sanctuary for the soul weary of the chase. It bridges the gap between modern human struggles and the transcendent paths of devotion, Yoga, and deep spiritual awakening. Whether you are navigating the heavy waters of addiction, wrestling with an overactive mind, or seeking a deeper connection to the Divine, this book offers a guiding light. Discover how a figure-ground reversal of your perception can alter your entire reality, letting old habits fall away naturally as you step into a completely new way of being.
Grounded in the trenches of real-world recovery and illuminated by the timeless, mystical wisdom of East and West, this book is an invitation to step out of the shell of a fixed, painful identity. Through practical spiritual tools, mantra, meditation, and storytelling, you will learn how to stop running from your true self, transform old patterns with self-compassion and service, and anchor your awareness in the limitless vessel of pure love and presence that is already within you.
